Options and Benefits of Philippine Airlines Manage My Booking Section

PAL Manage Booking is a convenient online tool that lets you easily view and make changes to your flight booking whenever you want. You can use the manage booking section for the following service:

Flight Change

Sometimes our plans may change without warning, needing us to modify our flight arrangements. In the manage flight section, you have the option to easily change your departure time, date, or both. 

To change your flight, please review and follow the terms and conditions below:

  • The original flight ticket was bought through the Philippine Airlines website, mobile app, or call center.
  • The ticket is for a straight reservation on Philippine Airlines, which covers flights with other airlines with the same code.
  • You can buy the original trip ticket with a credit or debit card. Flight tickets bought with reward miles or discounted prices can’t be changed in the “Manage Booking” area. 
  • When you buy travel necessities and extras, like a seat, a bag, or an upgrade, you won’t be able to change your trip ticket.
  • You can make changes online up to two hours before the flight is set to leave. 
  • Passengers can’t change where the trip starts or where it ends. 
  • If you ask to change the trip, your original seat choice will be canceled. New seats must be picked for the new flight.

Flight Cancellation

With Philippine Airlines in charge of the “my booking” area, customers can cancel their flight online and get a refund. Only if the ticket is made directly through the company. 

Follow the cancellation policy’s terms and conditions before asking for a cancellation:

  • Reservations and tickets must be bought through the official website or a global call center. 
  • The airline will handle the return of the cash that was used to buy the flight.
  • Within 24 hours of buying, you can use the “My Booking” part to cancel and get a full refund on any flight that starts or ends in the United States or Canada.
  • Bookings for Philippine Airlines must be made on the airline’s official website. 
  • If you cancel a ticket that isn’t changeable, you’ll get a trip credit for the airport taxes and fees that you didn’t use. You have 12 months from the date of purchase to use the credit. 
  • Passengers can cancel foreign flights up to 4 hours before departure and local flights up to 2 hours before departure. 
  • If the airline cancels the flight, travelers have up to 12 months from the date of departure to rebook the flight or use the ticket voucher. 

Add Additional Baggage

If you plan to travel with more bags, you can now use our pre-paid extra baggage service. On some planes, passengers can buy more space for their checked bags up to 24 hours before departure and save up to 10%. 

You can buy extra baggage limit through the “My Booking” part of Philippine Airlines’ website or by calling the airline’s customer service line.  If you already bought your plane ticket online, you can buy pre-paid extra bags up to 24 hours before your flight leaves.

Seat Upgrade

People can buy the upgrade on both short-haul and long-haul trips through the “Manage Booking” part of the Philippine Airlines website. You can travel in more ease and enjoy many of the perks of the luxury class. Some of them are:

  • Enjoy top-notch hospitality while on board.
  • Special treatment before and after the trip.
  • You can bring extra bags for free on the plane. This applies to both the bags you carry with you and the bags you check in. 
  • Baggage delivery priority. 
  • You can earn status and award miles every time you upgrade your flight. 
  • The terms and conditions of the original ticket have not changed.

Requirements for a Class Upgrade

The requirements for upgrading to Premium Economy Class can vary depending on factors such as the route you’re traveling, the booking class you’ve chosen, and the duration of your trip.

Here are the requirements for an upgrade: 

  • You need to book the flight ticket in the class cabin before the current one. 
  • The reservation must be confirmed.
  • The flight needs to be both operated and marketed by Philippine Airlines.
  • All passengers in the booking can upgrade through the airline’s website. If you want to upgrade the flight for one passenger, simply call the customer service of the airline. 

You cannot upgrade the flight in the following situations:

  • For flights that have already finished the check-in process. 
  • Additional services that can be charged for have been reserved, but no purchase has been made yet. The necessary documentation for these services has not been provided.
  • If you have already scheduled additional services for your trip, such as bringing a pet into the cabin, please read the following.

Name Corrections/Change Policy

Passengers can correct their names, and you can request most of these corrections through the Philippine Airlines manage reservation section. You can access this section once you have retrieved your booking. 

You can fix spelling errors for up to three characters per passenger through the Manage My Booking section. You have until 48 hours before your intended departure to make these changes. You will need to pay a fee for correcting your name.

Note: You have the option to change the name on the ticket until 2 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Travel with Infants

You can add an ‘infant on lap’ or ‘infant on seat’ to your existing reservation up to 24 hours before your scheduled departure.

Select Preferred Seat

After you book your flight with Philippine Airlines, you can easily choose your seats at any time. Just click on the “Manage flight” link. If you choose your seat early, you will have more options to select your favorite spot. 

If you’re flying in Economy, Premium Economy, or Business Class, you have the option to reserve a seat ahead of time for an extra fee.   • When you purchase your ticket, you have the option to reserve your seat in advance or do it later through the Philippine Airlines Manage booking page.

  • If you’re flying in Economy or Premium Economy Class and don’t want to pay for your seats, you can select a free Standard seat during check-in. The Business Class reservation follows the same rule.

Check Flight Status

You can easily track the flight schedule and arrival information of Philippine Airlines in real-time. 

You can check the flight status from 180 days after you buy your ticket until 365 days after your travel date. 

If you want to check your flight status, you can enter either your origin or destination. You can also enter both if you want to see all flights departing from or arriving at the airport of your choice.

Steps to Use Philippine Airlines Manage My Booking

You can use the “Manage Booking” tab on the airline’s website or call customer service to get to the booking and make multiple requests.

To navigate the Manage Booking tab, follow these steps:

  • Go to and find the My Booking page.
  • Please provide the booking confirmation PNR and the last name of the passenger. 
  • After you find your booking, you can do the following things:
    • Change/cancel the flight
