Carry on Baggage Weight

Just a reminder, the baggage allowance for Norwegian Airlines depends on the type of ticket you have. 

  • All passengers in every cabin can bring a bag weighing up to 10 kilograms. The only passengers who are not included are the Premium Flex passengers. 
  • Passengers who have booked Premium Flex are allowed to bring a bag weighing up to 15 kilograms.
  • Passengers on the Dubai flight are allowed to bring a bag weighing a maximum of 8 kilograms due to weight restrictions.  

Carry on Baggage Size

The Norwegian Air baggage policy has the following limitations. 

  • Passengers flying with Norwegian Airlines can bring a carry-on bag on board. The bag should be small enough to fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of them.

  • The size of the personal item should be no larger than 25 x 20 x 33 cm. 
  • According to Norwegian Air’s baggage policy, infants are not allowed to bring any baggage. However, they are allowed to bring a normal amount of baby food. 
  • If the passenger is between the ages of two and eleven (2-11) years old, they can bring hand baggage based on their fare type.

Checked Baggage Policy

The permission for checked baggage and the costs for Norwegian Air baggage depend on the type of fare that a passenger has. Whether or not a passenger has to pay an extra amount depends on the type of ticket they have. 

Passengers who want to add extra baggage to their pre-booked reservation. You can do it 4 hours before your flight leaves. The process is simple because passengers can do it online. 

  • Passengers with LowFare reservations do not have the option to bring baggage.
  • Reservations for LowFare+: Passengers with LowFare+ reservations can bring a checked bag weighing up to 20 kg. 
  • If you have a Flex reservation, you can bring 2 checked bags with you. The weight limit for baggage on Norwegian Air is 20 kilograms each. 

Policy of Norwegian for Long-haul International Trips With Checked Bags:

  • Low Fare Reservations: Norwegian does not offer low-fare customers the ability to check their bags. When you have a LowFare ticket, you can’t bring a bag. 
  • LowFare+ reservations: People with LowFare+ reservations can bring one checked bag that weighs no more than 20 kg. 
  • Flex, Premium, and PremiumFlex reservations: Passengers with Flex, Premium, and PremiumFlex tickets are allowed to check two bags. The most each bag can weigh on a Norwegian flight is 20 kg.

Checked Baggage Weight

The Norwegian air baggage policy says that Norwegian tourists must follow the Norwegian air baggage weight limits. This will help you escape paying extra fees at the last minute. 

  • The weight of the bag shouldn’t be more than 32 kg. 
  • The weight of the bag must be more than 2 kg.
